Active membership is extended to all persons actually employed as public assessing officials or in some governmental position related to the assessing field. Only Active members shall be entitled to vote on matters coming before the Association.
Associate membership is extended to persons who have retired as governmental assessing officers of from a governmental position related to the assessing field and who are not otherwise engaged in the field of property taxation or persons who are engaged in the study or teaching of property taxation and assessing.
Subscribing membership is extended to corporations, partnerships, appraisers, attorneys or all those involved in the assessing practice but are not actually hired in the assessment departments of municipalities.
